Happy Birthday, Envirowarrior
To celebrate I thought I'd re-post my original Earth Poem and share with you a couple of my favourite pictures over the past 12 months... I hope there are some of your favourits in here too?

Shhh, life said, receding…
…She beckoned,
With crocked finger,
Demanding reflective objectivity,
She whispered…..
Shhhh, sometimes too much is said.
There is such waste to be found in haste,
Many a wise woman knows,
Silence …
Better to still those voices in your head.
You are strong, do not invite scorn.
Sit,
Allow the wit, to idle,
For true writers are always writing,
Words always cascading
The soul: true expression always craving.
Look another fool rushes in...
Who can contemplate the beauty of a flower?
Made in the creators eye
… and fashioned in my womb,
Mysterious, harmonious, religious…
Not visible within a mind, muddled.
Who can hear the hearts pain?
Who indeed - the voices clamour and repeat.
Mother Nature: Ruthless, Competitive, Nurturing and Tender.
Shhh, be still and sit,
There is only gain, in silence’s refrain

I'm never sure whether to congratulate someone for being on Orble for a year or not, but happy Orble birthday anyway.
There's something about light. (Sunrise is my favourite pic).
Although I did like the pic of the ICC officials making sure Bejing was ready for the 2008 Olympics.

Real Crash
The railroads have run out of the necessary tank cars to transport ethanol. It cannot be transported through pipelines like gasoline, it is too corrosive. This is what is killing it, not enough infrastructure. But with people in enviro fantasy land, who gives a damn about infrastructure?

You really are such a bore … if you had done your homework, you would know that it has probably crashed because it just takes too much water to produce the green matter needed to mulch into Ethanol.
There is a water shortage on the planet you know… or doesn't that reach where you are?
